Mission Statement

The mission of the High School Partnership Team is to create an atmosphere for improved student academic achievement and success.

What is Partnership?

The following is stated  in the Shenendehowa's Commitment to Shared Decision-Making: A Blueprint for Success:

"The authority to make decisions which will create and support a learning environment that best meets the needs of students shall be assigned to a School Partnership Team.  Each school will develop a Partnership Team composed of the following partners:

• Principal

• Parents/Community Members

• Students

• Faculty (Certified Staff)

• Staff (all other staff assigned to the school)

Although the principal, as the official representative of the district, is responsible for providing leadership and guidance for the Team, (the Team) shall be composed of equal partners... Each partner will share both authority and responsibility and one partner can control or veto the Team's directions."
